Terms

Last updated 7 October 2026

These are the terms for using DeezNotes. By creating an account, or by using DeezNotes without one, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Your account

You sign in with a username and a password. Keep the password to yourself: what happens under your account is your responsibility. DeezNotes doesn't ask for an email address, so it can't send you a link to reset a forgotten password.

Your maps

What you write in your maps is yours. You give DeezNotes permission to store it and to show it to the people you share it with, and that is all the permission it takes.

Maps kept in an account are stored on the DeezNotes server, and whoever runs the server is able to read them. For a map nobody else can read, use DeezNotes without an account and save the map as a file with a password.

Sharing

A share link opens your map to anyone who has the link, with the role you gave it. Who you send it to is up to you. You can change or turn off a link, and remove people from a map, whenever you like.

What you can't do

• Store or share anything illegal, or anything that isn't yours to share.
• Use DeezNotes to harass, threaten or deceive anyone.
• Try to get into accounts or maps that aren't yours.
• Attack the service, overload it, or create accounts in bulk with a script.

An account or a map that breaks these terms may be removed without warning.

No guarantees

DeezNotes is free and comes as it is. It may change, stop working for a while, or shut down, and maps could be lost. Keep your own copies of anything that matters: "Download all my data" on the Account page gives you every map as a file.

As far as the law allows, DeezNotes isn't liable for lost maps, lost time, or any other loss that comes from using it.

Leaving

You can delete your account from the Account page at any time. That deletes every map in it, with their history, for good.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did, and carrying on using DeezNotes after a change means you accept the new ones.
